Ministries of our Church
This is a mission that GOD suggested to Linda Moore and it was adopted by our church.
They made over Ninety dresses and they were sent to the North Main Community Church which took them to the Appalachian mountains.
Every Wednesday the vans go up into the Appalachian mountain around their town and bring in the children. This is a very poor area and the children and parents are very happy for the outreach that the North Main Community Church provides. They have crafts, singing, scripture and play time (sounds a like our VBS) then they are fed a full dinner cooked and served by the ladies of their church and the children then attend their Wed. evening service before they are taken home. They are also picked up on Sunday morning and given breakfast before church.
The dresses were sent to girls in the Appalachian mountains
They have 5 vans which hold 12 children each, most time there are more than 12 in each van by the time they get back to church.
